mediacowboy 438
I am looking at some test code to see what I can come up with but it will be slow and painful. I am a hardware IT person not a programmer.
Luke 37994
i think the home screen and also the search results screen has basically the same layout as what you're asking for, so both of these can be used for inspiration. we have added a lot of new forum members lately and i can tell from comments that several of them are software developers. so maybe we just need to get them motivated. farside847 39
I also heard back from the author of the "whatson" app (https://owner.roku.com/add/WHATSONCHANNEL). Super nice guy, I'm buying him a beer - . He is willing to part with some sample code with grid functionality in the next week or so to help those developers who might be able to leverage it. I will report back when its available. here is a screenshot:

mediacowboy 438
I haven't had nor does it look like I will have any time for a while. Sorry
farside847 39
Sadly the whatson developer has not provided the promised code example. But, in the latest roku app I do see an option under live TV for a guide that displays your favorites, just not in a pretty grid. Maybe the devs are adding this feature to their to do list
Luke 37994
yes it has a grid, it just doesn't look exactly like that. it uses the grid functions that are provided by the roku developer libraries. even if that developer came back around, i would not do it at this point. the roku libraries need to be updated in order to compete with newer devices from android. my guess is roku is working on new libraries that will provide new capabilities, and as soon as it's available we'll take full advantage of them.
