0plus6 3
W10 server with latest Emby as of 01/15/21 When I add a m3u8 url to IPTV plugin, it is not available to users outside my network until a user logins to server AND I restart my server while they are logged in. Wondering if there is a fix for this as I have 5 or 6 different users and have to organize everyone to login first and then restart. If that makes any sense whatsoever. 0plus6 3
Thank you for the fast reply @Luke! I have another m3u8 scheduled for tomorrow and will give this a try!
0plus6 3
This worked! However, a new TCL Roku outside my network is trying to direct play even though their MBPS restricted in my server. A restart of my server stops the direct play (only way I can stop it even though they stopped on their end) and then restarting the stream starts their transcoding. Hope that makes sense. Luke 37295
Hi there, how are you determining that it's attempting to direct play?
0plus6 3
My Dashboard is showing direct play. Once I restart server, it transcodes like it is supposed to.
