mranim8or 3
Although I could play DVDs with no problems, I often had trouble with Blu-Rays. I tried Power DVD 10, VLC (with the latest libraries), and MPC-HC. Some Blu-Rays would insist that I needed an upgrade and would not play due to copy protection, others would work fine. I rented the Lego Movie from RedBox and monkeyed with it for an hour and a half until I gave up trying to get it to play and went back and rented the DVD instead (ugh). Maybe I have these issues because mine is a Blu-Ray burner? Finally, someone suggested I download the free version of DVDfab Passkey and now everything works perfectly! If you are having trouble like mine, try it. You put the disc in and then it decodes it....after that it will play fine in any program. The free version is at http://www.dvdfab.cn/. -Mike
