Access my server from remote location

I setup my server and have port forwarding working. I can access my content from the emby andriod app or my phone and tablet.

I can also access it from my Windows or Ubuntu laptops. However, when try to access it via my Nvidia Shield it doesn't connect.

I enter the IP and port manually and it does nothing. Any ideas?

I have tried it on two different Nvidia Shields (they work if I connect them locally).

Have you tried connecting them with Emby Connect?

Hi.  I would look into something that may be blocking the devices from accessing an unknown site.  Any sort of security or watchdog app on the network or router.

Thanks for the suggestions:

Concerning blocking devices - I thought about this, but every other device on the same network works (Windows, Android Phone, Android Tablet).

I'm using the same settings. So unless the Nvidia Shield has something built in that blocks I don't think that it's on my remote network. Also

my remote network only has a printer, 2 laptops, and the Shield.

Concerning Emby Connect - That's a pretty good idea only problem is that I didn't set it up on my phone network before I left.

Hi.  How long did you wait?  No messages were produced?

Exactly how did you put in the IP address?  Are you sure it was correct?  HTTP or HTTPS?
