neik 838 Posted January 7, 2021 Share Posted January 7, 2021 (edited) Hi guys, hope you all had a good start into 2021! A cousin of mine uses his FireTV Stick (2. Gen) to access my Emby server. When he hits pause the video stops but the audio goes on and when he resumes the video starts at the position where the audio is and not where he hit pause. I did some testing and apparently it is related to EAC3 audio (channels do not matter), all otheres (ACC, AC3, DTS) do pause and resume fine. I tried several files and only those with EAC3 cause this. A workaround is activating "Downmix to stereo" then everything works as expected. Would a debug log from the app help? User: Tiago Time: 13:24 (MEZ).. should be 07:24 UTC-5 I played Prince of Bel Air (2x23) for a couple seconds, paused and unpaused... I even see: Quote I/AudioTrack( 3765): calling pause So, I don't really have an explanation at this point. I also cannot reproduce on any device.
