Force fullscreen remote when media playing?

Hey all,

I hope there's already a way to do this, otherwise I can submit a feature request if it seems reasonable.

 

I use a tablet to control Emby casted to another device (in my case a Shield TV Pro). I find when I start playing media I always have to tap the remote at the bottom to bring it up full screen so that I can use it as a remote more practically. Is there a setting, or a trick, that will let me have the remote up automatically if media is playing casted to another device?

EDIT: Side question.  Could we get a "next" button on the fullscreen remote?  It's there on the small remote.

Hi that do you mean by small remote vs fullscreen remote? Are you referring to the now playing bar at the bottom?

Yep.  When you tap it, it goes to full screen (making the playback control buttons easier to use).
