WB-C crashes after playing a movie (but not TV)

Guys,

I'm having yet another critical problem with MB-C.

 

TV shows appear to play back OK.

 

Movies--when they play properly (see the thread on random stopping)--after a movie title ends the screen goes black and stays that way. If I press the BACK button or the STOP button then I get an error from WMC that the Media Browser 3 program has crashed. Only killing the entire process in Task Manager gets me back to desktop.

 

I am using 3.0.196.0.7-19.1 under Win7/64 Ultimate, 8GB of RAM, i3 processor.

 

MB-C and MB Server 3 are on the same computer.

 

Titles play fine across the network to all my desktop computer using MB-3 server. It's just playing things back on the HTPC that's problematic.

I think the issues may be related and also may be related to either codecs or graphics drivers on that machine.
