LightMoon 1
Hi, After upgrading from 4.5.2 to 4.5.4 the emby web interface stop working. This is the package I downloaded : https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.5.4.0/emby-server-qnap_4.5.4.0_arm-x31.qpkg Here is the Qnap model and firmware Model: TS-231 Current firmware version: 4.3.6.1446 Date: 29/09/2020 Here is log when I try to run the Emby from the command line. PenkethBoy 2063
ok - if thats the case provide a log file from emby and describe in FULL what you are doing to access emby as you have provided very little detail so far

One2Go 98
I just did the same update on a QNAP TS-253Be which has an Intel 64 bit processor. Stopping the Emby server in the QNAP App section and then manually installing the latest stable version, downloaded from Emby.Media, which worked without a hitch. However remember when you click in the QNAp App section and try to Open the web page, it uses a wrong port #8096 instead of port #8097. Even after that it took such a long time before displaying just showing a black page with the Emby symbol, that I shut down the server, than restarted it and watched a 30 minute TV program. By that time the Emby server Dashboard page finally displayed. One other thing I do use the local IP address 192.168.*.* to connect to the Emby server on QNAP. One2Go 98
Wouldn't know where to set that. After installing early 4.* versions it just said on the Dashboard "Running on http port 8097" however when clicking the QNAP AppCenter blue Open button it opens a link with Port #8096 and the error message can't connect. Don't know where to change that but since everything is running fine, hate to do changes.
Luke 37097
Ok yes you must have done that because we don't use 8097 by default. In the case of qnap the port is defined in the package, it's the only port you can use so what we need to do is not allow you to change it. But I have no idea where to change can that be done on the Dashboard? As I very, very rarely use Putty to access the QNAP structure never mind doing any changes. So if 8096 is the default port from the package, then where and how do you change it in the EMBY settings on the QNAP? I am at a total loss here how this could have changed to 8097! LightMoon 1
I revert to 4.5.2 and everything start working. wondering if there is any testing process per Qnap CPU architecture before releasing any versions?
StrandValk 0
Almost exact same issue for me, TS-431 works with version 4.5.1 but after upgrading to 4.5.2, can't browse to it. Downgraded back and all good, is this a CPU Arc issue or are these models no longer supported?
One2Go 98
Don't know if the hardware could be a possible issue but when I purchased the NAS I decided Intel x86 64 bit multiple cores plus 8GB RAM as a minimum. Been too long in this business not to know to buy something that is somewhat future prove and will have enough horsepower in case transcoding is required. Hey Luke I am not sure if the issue I am facing on TS-231 is the same as the one on TS-431. Is there any updates over this issue? How we are tracking? Luke 37097
At this point we're not sure. Whatever the issue is, it's something specific to these models. Is it possible to provide remote SSH access? If you're willing to do that please send me a PM. Thanks.
