Czarus 0
Hi What to do if u get this error on Windows 10. I didnt changed anything in my pc, last thing i did was to install TIdal but it was 2 days ago and yesterday emby worked. After crash, 3 instances of "Electron" are running along with one Emby.Theater (32bit) and emby wont start. If u kill Emby.Theater (32bit) process, u can turn it on but crashes again. I did new install, even deleted all emby and electron catalogs in Roaming but it didnt helped. "non-ascii plugin path is not supported" looks like Emby doesnt like some characters?. I have non standard letters in my user name, but i have it like that for a year or so. 2020-12-20 11:39:24.501 Info Main: Application path: C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\system\Emby.Theater.exe 2020-12-20 11:39:24.503 Info Main: Emby Command line: C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\system\Emby.Theater.exe Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19042.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: False User Interactive: True Processor count: 24 Program data path: C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater Application directory: C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\system 2020-12-20 11:39:24.527 Info Main: C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\system\x64\electron\electron.exe "C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\system\electronapp" "C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\data\electron" "C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\system\cec\cec-client.x64.exe" "C:\Users\Sułtan_Kosmitów\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\system\x64\mpv\mpv.exe" 2020-12-20 11:39:24.580 Info App: Application version: 3.0.13.0 2020-12-20 11:39:24.602 Info App: Application configuration: {"EnableDebugLevelLogging":false,"EnableAutoUpdate":true,"LogFileRetentionDays":3,"RunAtStartup":false,"IsStartupWizardCompleted":false} 2020-12-20 11:39:24.603 Info App: Loading MediaBrowser.Model, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null 2020-12-20 11:39:24.603 Info App: Loading MediaBrowser.Common, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null 2020-12-20 11:39:24.603 Info App: Loading Emby.Theater, Version=3.0.13.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null 2020-12-20 11:39:24.629 Info Main: HDMI CEC driver already installed. 2020-12-20 11:39:24.681 Info App: Core startup complete 2020-12-20 11:39:27.681 Info TaskManager: StartupTrigger fired for task: Check for application updates 2020-12-20 11:39:27.681 Info TaskManager: Queueing task SystemUpdateTask 2020-12-20 11:39:27.684 Info TaskManager: Executing Check for application updates 2020-12-20 11:39:27.700 Info HttpClient: HttpClientManager GET: https://api.github.com/repos/MediaBrowser/Emby.Theater.Windows/releases 2020-12-20 11:39:27.938 Info TaskManager: Check for application updates Completed after 0 minute(s) and 0 seconds 2020-12-20 11:39:27.951 Info TaskManager: ExecuteQueuedTasks Edited December 20, 2020 by Czarus
Czarus 0
Answering myself: i created new windows10 user, logged there and installed emby again. Now emby works. When asked about installing hdmi cec driver i click on "No". EDIT: now some of my 4k stuff not loading correctly i have only sound and blue screen - when i install hdmi cec driver, now plays correctly and emby still works. Hope it will help someone...
