Emby not playing through genre on remote streaming?

Running Emby 3.1.7.1.   I want to say, the last two versions or so have been acting weird when I've been remotely streaming in the car.  I don't know if it's an Android Auto issue, maybe?  But for some reason, if I go into my Game genre (and I will be the first to admit, it is a really, really big genre for my music) and hit Random (because hitting Play never works), it will load one song, play it through, and then just....hang.  Pressing skip doesn't do anything. If I hit Random again, it will play another song, and then stop again.  But playing from my own playlists works perfectly fine.  I didn't have problems before, so I'm at a loss as to what has happened.

I also still have issues streaming to my Google Home or my Onkyo at night from my phone, within my local network, where it will stop playing on its own after a while instead of playing through the night.  Once in a great while it streams flawlessly, but for the most part, it only goes for a few hours (and sometimes not even an hour) and drops.  The log should hopefully cover times both issues have occurred.
