hollerme 5
Hi all, I was hoping someone could advise what to do. I am currently in another country uploading footage to my Synology. In the past this has not been an issue - speed is quick - and even a week ago was uploading quite swiftly. However for the past few days that has all changed - I am able to each day upload 1 file at a fairly decent speed, then for the rest of the day am unable to upload anything else (speeds are around 10kb/s to 47kb/s). Today it's even worse with everything uploading slowly. My family in the UK are typically asleep when I am uploading footage because of the time zone difference, and when they are awake I have not had this problem before. Is there anything I can do to resolve it?
Luke 37196
Hi, what are you using to upload?
hollerme 5
Quickconnect and go to File Manager from there (it's the only way I've been uploading for the past 18 months so this issue is very new for me).

I don't use it by quickconnect. I login over HTTPS to DSM itself and then use file manager from there. Is it a VPN speed issue or QOS on destination router rules at busy times?
