Alphapicker local vs foreign charachters and full gamut

in uk i am used to latin alphabet so eg cyrylic and eg chinese character sets are not well understood.

perhaps foreign alphabet which can be translated to local alphabet should be sorted accordingly (and not add foreign charachters to alphabet picker) and foreign alphabets which cant be translated to local are just grouped at the end of picker,  represented as charachter +.

so #,A,B,...,Y,Z,+

when there isnt enough screen real estate for full gamut of the picker then maybe just show the beggining and end of picker with every eg. 3 points on the picker in between (to fit screen)

#,A,D,G,J,M,,P,S,V,Y,Z,+
