grudi 3
Hi I try to play a movie on Emby Theather in Windows. On all other clients (iOS, Android) I can play the movie without any issue, but not Windows. Attached the log files. Would appreciate any help to resolve this issue. VLC media player can play this movie without any issue on my PC. Thx embyserver.txt ffmpeg-remux-35a6b3b7-c5fc-4dfb-bd21-0a5b03777b3f_1.txt Edited November 21, 2020 by grudi
sooty234 266
All movies or just one? And post a screenshot of your audio and video settings from Theater.
Happy2Play 8334
First question would be does you Windows 10 system support HEVC as the Store app is dependent on the platform. App: Emby for Windows 1.1.326.0 >>>>>> User policy for fam.rudi EnablePlaybackRemuxing: True EnableVideoPlaybackTranscoding: False EnableAudioPlaybackTranscoding: True

Indeed, I disabled "Allow video playback that requires transcoding" because emby want's always to transcode movies due to the high bitrate. Effectivly my network can handle high bitrate videos without any problem. But that was the only solution to force emby to not encoded the video. What is strange though is that VLC can play the same movie without any problem. But emby can't. Is this normal? What I linked to is an entirely different app.
