Why can we still not log into our Cable TV providers like Fios and Xfinity through emby to watch live tv? This is seriously annoying. I just want one place to go to watch all my media instead of going to the channels website like cnn or foxnews to log in to watch. If you go to cnn or fox website you can log in to your tv provider and watch the channels live. Why cant we do that in Emby?!!!!! It's 2020 and we still don't have a solid way to watch our digital cable on emby without buying un needed hardware and plastic cards? ebr 14947 Posted November 11, 2020 Share Posted November 11, 2020 Hi. Most of these providers simply do not allow this. It is up in the air as to whether or not they ever will. Part of the business model for these delivery methods is tied to the fact that they can draw you to their website or dedicated platform for any number of advertising or other metric/revenue advantages. If and when such integrations become possible and practical, we'd love to include them. As of right now, there may be some ways you can kind of get this for some sources via things like TVEverywhere.
