If it is the first then it makes sense to have admin functions upfront prominently displayed and easily accessible. If it is the second it makes sense to bury it deep (under the Advanced menu). The problem is it is both ... I use it purely as a back end server and only ever access it for admin. Could we not just have a special view tied to a special admin type profile? That's basically what we've got now - login in as an admin user and you're at the Server Dashboard page. Login as a non-admin user and you're straight to browsing your collection. I do think that it would make sense to move the "Scan Library" button from the bottom of the library config page to the top, or just put it on the dashboard page where it would be even quicker to access (it could go right next to the Restart and Shutdown buttons). 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
