Chromecast W/ Google TV

Grabbed one just for kicks.

I put EMBY on it and it works great.

I get pop ups telling me my trial will end on a date.

It states for continuous playback I need Emby Premier. 

I did have Emby Premier for a bit but the features it included I did not use.

That was for my  Roku's

For Chromecast w/ Google TV do I need to get a Emby Premier Account and maintain it to use on my Chromecast w/ Google TV?

I looked below and didn't see any mention of that.

Hi.  Either Premiere or unlock the app if all you need is playback.

Ok,

If this is through the actual APP, I need to bone up on Google TV.

Learning curve.

Have to say, I am not that impressed with the device over my ROKU ULTRAS.

Yes, all app unlocks are handled via the appropriate app store.  This is strict app store policy (for good reason).

I actually used the app and SCROLLED Down to see where to unlock it. Doi

I am really liking the EMBY on this device.

I have a local movie I think will tell me more about the hardware.

As usual, EMBY is darn near perfect!
