Tezza4x4 1 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Seem to be stuck on version 4.4.3.0 on Synology. Emby dashboard says 4.5.2.0 is available, but package centre not showing any upgrade option? Package source is set to https://synology.emby.media/ Any ideas on how to fix?
FrostByte 5257 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 The old repository isn't being used anymore. You will need to do a manual install after downloading the correct spk file for your NAS. https://emby.media/synology-server.html After you update the next update afterward the dashboard will display the link above instead of saying to use DSM. You can also remove the old repository from DSM. 1
Tezza4x4 1 Posted October 30, 2020 Author Posted October 30, 2020 Thanks, but getting a 404 not found on the 64 bit link:https://emby.media/emby-server-synology_{version}_x86_64.spk 1
FrostByte 5257 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 @Luke the link for x64 stable appears to be broken
FrostByte 5257 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 @Tezza4x4 I think he just fixed it, I'm no longer getting a 404 error
Luke 40082 Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 Sounds like either javascript is disabled in your browser, or something is blocking the web page connection to github to fetch the latest version information.

Luke 40082 Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 Just now, kaj said: @FrostByte What does this mean exactly? How do you remove the old repository without deleting the current one? There is no current repository, so nothing to worry about there.

I vaguely remember someone saying something similar as a possible solution to correct the cosmetic issue of Newest online version and Installed version in the Package Manage, but never found it. r
Tezza4x4 1 Posted November 3, 2020 Author Posted November 3, 2020 Yep my bad. Script blocker got in the way.
