How to deal with TV series containing numbers?

How are TV series with numbers in their titles. Such as "Snowdonia 1890" to be dealt with?  The server finds it in the tvdb, but does not handle the season/episode correctly. It creates season 18, and only one Episode 90.  It is obviously picking up the 1890 date as season/episode from the Series directory of "Snowdonia 1890".

I have the Series directory as "Snowdonia 1890", and episode file names as Episode 1.mpg, Episode 2.mpg, etc.  How can I get it to ignore the 1890 in the Series title?  I have had this same issue with other programs also.  The only way I have been able to get it right is to manually edit the metadata on the episode. It then creates a Season 1 puts the first episode in it, then the next day Episode 2 will show up the the season 18 folder, I edit it's metadat, etc.....

Well I had a brain fart right after I posted this.  I renamed the episode names to "Episode 1 S01E01.mpg", etc....   that fixed it.   Perhaps this will help someone else.
