bnwbass 3
Hello all, Maybe some insight with what I am seeing with streaming audio from Emby server with Roku Ultra. From Stats for nerds shows original DTS master HD (6ch) Streaming info shows 2 ch stereo on stats and My AVR show info as PCM 2 ch. AVR is current model capable of all HD formats TruHD, DTS master HD etc. Check Roku audio setting all set for HD formats . What else to check? Thx bnw

speechles 1917
You must ensure in your main Roku settings you have DTS enabled in HDMI-AUDIO. After you've done this the Emby Roku app detects support based on the ability to pass-through DTS. Your HDMI chain of devices must pass-through this detection. To do this correctly: Turn on TV and AVR first. Now unplug, wait 3 seconds, plug back in the power wire to the Roku Ultra. Let it boot with the AVR and TV already on and it will properly detect your HDMI audio chain and pass-through DTS. The Emby Roku app reads all audio capabilities from the device and hdmi audio chain for pass-through. Does this answer your question?
