Error on Update to 3.0.5031.21343

Getting an error trying to do this update, but installs fine on my laptop (same OS and updates), service was shut down at the time, and a reboot of the system didn't cure the problem (see below for a fix):

**EDIT**  Looks like this particular error has been reported before with the installer used for these releases:
 

 

 

Appears to be a problem with the App store and need to clear everything out of the Apps folder:
In our case I removed the 2.0 folder from the APPS folder and the application would install and auto-update once again with no problems. 



XP: Remove the 2.0 folder from %userprofile%\Local Settings\Apps 

Vista: Remove the 2.0 folder from %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Apps 
(Same as vista for Win 7 & 8)
