Uwe96 3
Carlo 4328
Hi, Can you go over an example of how you converted the file?
Uwe96 3
Erste File ohne Custom : Untertitel lassen sich ausschalten 2. File Custom wurde transkodiert. Untertitel nicht ausschaltbar. kingofqueens.s02e01.mkv kingofqueens.s02e01 - custom.mkv
Carlo 4328
Hi, Neither of these files have a subtitle track in them. So if you're able to select a sub it's exernal. Your custom version has had the subtitle burned into the video. Once that's been done you can't reverse this. What method did you use to convert these files? Beim Schneiden sind die Untertitel verloren gegangen. Hier mal die Daten der Org Datei. Und die Emby Einstellungen.
Carlo 4328
@softworkz Are the PGS subtitles being burned in for a reason?

Luke 36879
OK, PGS is currently burned in with the convert feature, in order to maximize compatibility with client devices.
Carlo 4328
That was the question because this functionality isn't wanted. Just because a file has a PGS subtitle doesn't mean the person want to view it or have it permanently burned into the video. This type of functionality should probably be an option as some people would rather drop the PGS than have it burnt in during a conversation. Could always download an SRT if needed. Luke 36879
More configuration can be added to the conversion options in future updates. Thanks for the feedback.
Uwe96 3
Danke, ja, ich habe mit Absicht konvertiert. Und ich möchte die Untertitel eben nicht haben. Wäre schön wenn das demnachst eingeführt wird.

Thanks for the feedback. The best solution, or dream solution, would be a functionality similar to Handbreak.
