cstevens2220 0 Posted August 19, 2020 Share Posted August 19, 2020 I am trying to use Folder Sync to make a backup of my Movie and TV libraries. I have installed the plugin, restart the Emby Server, added a folder location in the plugin settings. I cannot locate an option to start a sync. Looked under the 3 dot menu for each library, no scheduled tasks. What am I missing? Carlo 4329 Posted September 16, 2020 Share Posted September 16, 2020 Yes, for some reason sync was renamed "download to". Personal opinion only but to me a "download" is a non managed event that is one time. A "sync" is a managed operation that can do things like "manage" number of episodes or movies that are downloaded, remove watched stuff and replace with new material. Sort of like what it actually does. The "download to" is confusing since we also have a "download" (true sense of the word) function and those names are far to similar where "sync" was named perfectly.
