*stumped* Very Odd behavior stuttery playback after watching previous episode only?

This is a weird one, wondering if anyone has experienced this before, I had a user that could not play a certain episode , all the rest were fine and all other content was ok also. I tested the particular episode on same hardware at my house myself and it worked, and tested his hardware at my house, also worked. I figured it was something with his tv.

Then I also started watching the show in question, and once I finished the previous episode to the troublesome one, then the one that was giving my user stuttering issues started to give me the same problems? It had never had issues playing for me UNTIL i had watched the previous episode then it started to stutter no matter what I did.. 

have tried:

Clear cache/data

re-install client

mark previous and all season un-watched

 

Making me think it might be a server issue?

Hi.  I'm sure the previous watching is a coincidence.  Can we please look at the logs from the problem item?
