eric859 1
When I installed plex, I was able to move the application and it's local database files to an sd card. I just didn't have enough internal memory for my Library's metadata in the local Plex db files. I assume I'm going to run into this with Emby Server. Can someone please tell me how to move Emby Server and related metadata db files to an sd card like I did with Plex? Thanks
Carlo 4328
If you're talking about Emby Server you can change the storage locations that are used in many ways. You can set the cache, the temp transcoding, the metadata folder, where graphics are stored (in metadata folder or with the media). You'll see most of the important paths listed at the bottom of the Dashboard screen in the admin. I'd advise you to take a look at each screen in the admin console to get familiar with the different options and configurability.
prunhardt 3
Hi I am no expert, but would expanding the internal memory with your sd card be an idea? No fuzz with different locations. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/shield-tv/9/230680/expanding-storage-capacity/
Carlo 4328
Yes, but Android still uses internal storage for some things so it only goes so far.
