TrackZ 16 Posted July 16, 2014 Share Posted July 16, 2014 I've been experimenting with MB3 a lot in the past week with a combination of the server on my PC, iPad app, web client on iPad, Xbox One, Roku, Popcorn Hour, MBT, and Apple TV (airplaying from the iPad app or web client). I have a bunch of videos set up as well as two test MKVs, one for 7.1 DTS-MA and one for 7.1 TrueHD. I've been using the Play To capability most often and inspecting the playback results, transcoding behavior, and DLNA profiles on the server. One thing I consistently see is that audio gets transcoding to AAC, but I don't get proper channel output to my HT. I get discrete audio out of the left, center, and right channels, but the right surround and right surround back come from the front right channel speaker. Same behavior for the left channels. Maybe I need to try more profile editing, but I'd appreciate any help or insight into this result. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
