How to delete something that's duplicated nearly 1,000 times? There's no shift click to select them all, so how do I do it?

If you're talking about a media file that truly has 1000 duplicates you'd be way better off deleting it in the OS and just have Emby rescan the library.  Then Emby will remove the "duplicates" that don't exist anymore.

If you're asking about something else then please explain further.

It's a collection item that is duplicated over 1,000 times.

A collection, or an item within a collection?

Is another new one being created with each new library scan?

No idea.. there's so many at this point. Again there's like a 1,000 of them. I wouldn't know if a few more popped up or not.

Doesn't the list screen show a count?

I guess it does. Never paid attention to that. I don't think it's changed in some time. I have emby set up to scan every 15 mins too.

As its a collection then if you go to

programdata/data/collections

do you have multiple "Superman Collection" sub folders?

if so you can delete them - run a library scan - and they should disappear

Wont stop new ones being created - i assume you have the autobox set plugin loaded - which is likely to be adding these duplicates after every library scan - not sure why

Did that a long time ago. They're still on Emby even tho I deleted the sub folders.

Have you tried removing the items that make up the Collection and doing a library scan?

Thank you, that worked. Is there an easy way to do it in the web app tho? This not being able to select multiple things really gets in the way a lot.
