marky9074 1
Did a search but didn't immediately come up with anything. I have an MKV and two external SRT files, one FORCED (with this in the file name) and the other the full English track subtitle. When these files are copied to the server only the main SRT file is listed (the FORCED SRT is not there at all). If I embed the forced SRT file into the MKV using FFMPEG or MKVToolNix this appears as SUB RIP and the other external SRT shows up in Emby (so I get two to choose from via the pull down subtitle list). So my question is... Is it not possible to have two external SRT files looked up/served by Emby?
yardameus 220
If you download multiple files with Emby, it names it file (year).en for the first file, file (year).1.en for the next file.
marky9074 1
Thanks for the help. Managed to work it out from a Plex forum where it said to name it: en.srt en.forced.srt A quick refresh of metadata and they are both showing, and the forced track is now auto-selected... happy days! marky9074 1
Thanks for that. I dug around the forum, but didn't think to look in the most obvious place...!
