My ISP has been throttling me and when I try to watch high quality videos I've been getting buffering. This doesn't happen when watching live tv and I'm curious if emby is involved with uploading the content or if it's more of a direct play type of thing? I'm not sure exactly what you are asking but most live TV streams are not that high of bitrate (and what would be expected for normal streaming by your ISP) so that may be why they aren't affected.
