Having trouble casting to chromecast from remote server

Hello,

I recently set up Emby on my remote server which uses a different internet connection from my home connection, and while I am able to view the page and access my movies, it does not show me options to cast to when I press the cast button. I assume this is because the chromecast and Emby are on different connections, but am unsure on how to make Emby detect my chromecast on the local network. Thanks for the help.
