jamesplay 22
Would it be possible to incorporate the filtering/sorting options in the specific genre pages, so people can sort by IMDB rating, name, filter out stuff, and change icon view? I mostly would like it for sorting out the rating. Edited July 11, 2014 by jamesplay
jamesplay 22
Currently the genre pages are treated as an item and are using the itembynamedetails.html, which covers every movie page. It seems that it will likely be impractical to implement what I'm suggesting. For example, http://localhost/mediabrowser/dashboard/itembynamedetails.html?genre=Action&context=movies Would it be more feasible to use the movies.html to filter out a genre? For example, http://localhost/mediabrowser/dashboard/movies.html?genre=Action Kind of like this here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrwg2-Yap3E Edited July 15, 2014 by jamesplay
Luke 37065
yes i would like to add more filters, although that design wouldn't work for mobile.

Yeah, you're right. it doesn't look so great on my iPod, but it's something I guess. As I said earlier, if possible, it would probably be best using gender as a filter on the movies.html page instead. Having an icon/thumb for gender is fine, but I think it's probably best to keep it hidden when going on a specific gender page.
Luke 37065
yea it probably will be enhancements to the existing filter slideout panel that's already there.
