Hi,

I just discovered emby about four day's ago, so foregive me if this is a stupid question!

In the emby web browser on my laptop, if I click on music in my media bar it automatically shows album artists, which is what I want to see. However, if I do the same in ROKU, I need to select Album Artists from the bar at the top of the screen (Albums, Album Artists, Artists, Genres etc). Is there ay way of changing the settings so that it automatically goes to Album Artists?

Thanks!

Hi.  The next version of the app (currently in beta) will allow you to do this.

Thanks.

Thanks for the update. When are we likely to see the next version? Just curious, not pushing!

Great software by the way, it has totally revolutionised my viewing habits!!

I cannot offer an ETA but you can always install the beta and try it out.

Thanks.

I've tried the Beta version, however it is still happening on the ROKU app: if I select Music on my home screen it automatically goes to Suggestions, likewise with movies. and TV shows. On my Laptop music goes straight to movies, music to album/artist and TV shows to shows, as set up. Is this just a quirk of the ROKU app?

Hi.  Navigate over to the "cog" icon (or press the '*' key on your remote) and set your preferred default tab for each library.

Thanks.

I think I'm a bit dense. When I select the cog I presume I next select settings?Where is the default tag for each library?

Hi.  Go into your music library.  Select the cog from there.

We tried to place the settings where they actually take effect to make them easier to find :).
