thewallace 5 Posted May 24, 2020 Share Posted May 24, 2020 I'm running Emby Server 4.4.40 and the newest Emby theater in Windows 10. A couple of weeks ago I started getting the error that Theater can't connect to the server (see attachments) . - I can open the dashboard and server shows its running. I can make updates to the library and everything seems ok. - I've reinstalled both server and theater with the same error. I guess something between theater and server is out of sync but I can't find what. I checked the archives but found no solution other than manually restarting Server which doesn't work. Any ideas? thewallace 5 Posted May 24, 2020 Author Share Posted May 24, 2020 The dashboard opens using http://localhost:8096/web/index.html#!/dashboardOld school but I went and added my IP---Localhost to the Windows HOSTS file.
