Nzbdrone & Specials?

Hiya,

Nzbdrone puts special episodes in a Specials folder and there seems to be no way to override this behaviour.

This results in the following in MB :-

53bd7e127b915_ScreenShot20140709at183758

If I move the file manually to a Season 00 folder then it looks correct :-

Is there any way I can get the Specials folder to behave the same as the Season 00 folder?

Is this something that can be fixed on the server? It seems that TheMovieDB does not return any valid season Metadata for Specials.

I'm wondering if adding TheTVDB as a metadata service provider for TV Series Seasons will fix the issue?

I realise I'm talking to myself here, but I resolved this (sort of).

I set the season number to 0 and then it is picked up correctly.

No idea why it populates the season number when it is in a Season 0 folder, but doesn't populate it when it is in a Specials folder however.

The actual files are named correctly (S00E01 etc)

Anyway, it's a workaround :-)

Cool, I have yet to try retrieving specials so was following this thread with interest :)

So do you configure something in nzbdrone to save specials in the season 0 folder?

No, you can't that's the problem. nzbdrone will only save them to a Specials folder. There's no option to tell it to use a Season 0 folder.

I tried manually moving them to a Season 0 folder and then they were picked up ok.

Moved them back to Specials folder, and they don't get recognised.

File names are unchanged between moves.

Weird!
