shdw2001h 0
Hi I am new to emby. I just installed emby on my Synology ds718+. I started the Emby server, added movies and tv shows. the problem is the hard drives are constantly reading, even when scrolling through the settings. I shut off real time monitoring, like I found here in the forums, but it did not make a difference, the drives still constantly are reading. This also happens when remotely accessing the Emby server. When I shut down Emby the Synology drives go back to normal, and stop the constant reading. I use Apple TV in home to watch my movies on emby. I was thinking of changing from Plex but if this issue can't be stopped I will stay with Plex for now. Thanks in advanced

shdw2001h 0
For some reason each time I try to upload the file it tells me I cant upload file or there was an error.is there another way to send the files one is only 246kb and the other is 881kb. But for more information I did unload all the plugins and the drives calmed down a lot. But emby seems to be making the hard drives work harder then needed. shdw2001h 0
I added some of the Plugins back and it started constant accessing of hard drives. It don't seem to be as bad but yes still same problem. Also I added new movies to the Emby and and Emby did not add them to the movie list. I also tried to identify the movie, because it recognized it wrong, Emby found the correct movie and Emby will not update the metadata or cover.
