qhplar 0 Posted May 7, 2020 Share Posted May 7, 2020 After several days the server stops using hardware transcoding and only uses software transcoding. I have to restart the server to get hardware transcending working again. This is causing major lodas on CPU when this happens. If I look at the transcoding settings under Enable hardware acceleration when available and switch from yes to advanced no options so up. It's like the server doesn't recognise the hardware encoding available to it. I'm fairly new to emby and have only used Ver4 but this has always been an issue since I've been using it.
