Yes, let’s say we’re watching a movie, what I’d like to do is play an audio file arbitrarily. Reducing the volume of the movie soundtrack. My though behind this is notifications, specifically text to speech: “There’s somebody at the front door” “The TV will sleep in 1 minute” etc. I have this working with sonos, however it doesn’t mix the audio, it just plays the audio clip and then switches back to the movie audio. This is part of my automation drive, Emby is central in our house, it’s the only source we use on all the TV’s. (you guys should be proud that it fits this role!)
