Registered domain name with media browser

I have a domain name that I would like to use with my media browser server but the problem is I don't have any idea how do it. Can anyone assist?

The provider where you bought it should have some sort of DNS area where you can fill in the desired ip for a certain domain/subdomain.

Yes I can configure the ip. I did this before using the apache web server, just not sure how to go about it for this. I will do some more research.

You are gonna need the external IP address of your router.  Then you'll need to make sure port forwarding is setup to the proper server machine.  Then you should be able to use "domain.com:8096//mediabrowser" to get there.

i use dyndns, i volunteered to start paying before they moved to the premium model so i get a reduced rate!
