A couple of DVR/ Guide issues

I missed a recording of a scheduled show yesterday.   It appears from the logs that the HDHomeRun (quadro) rejected the request saying that all 4 tuners were in use.  I did some more testing and find that Emby is quite happy to let me keep scheduling concurrent recordings forever and is completely oblivious to the 4 tuner limit.  Is Emby really not aware of how many tuners I have?  This is potentially worrying if I could miss more recordings without realising it.

 

Secondly, I tried to search for the missed recording in the guide knowing it would be broadcast again but couldnt find it.  The show is called 'Red Dwarf: The Promised Land' and is broadcast again on 12th April.  If I search for 'Red Dwarf' it displays lots of Red Dwarf episodes both before and after 12th April but nothing on 12th April.  If I search for 'Promised' it then shows the upcoming episode.   Is this a bug in the search?

Hi, yes currently it will let you schedule and it will attempt each one and allow them to fail if that's the result. It's something we'll improve in the future to give you a warning about.

Search will only display a limited number of matches, so that is why. In future updates we plan to group the results by show to make it easier to find what you're looking for.
