utisz 0
I'm wondering if it's possible to use DLNA remotely, somehow? I have my emby server at home, running on a raspberry. I can use my samsung tv to play the media on my emby over dlna. When I leave home, go to some other location, I can also access my library using emby app on my mobile device, and, when I visit my friends, for ,instance, I can stream movies to my phone and mirror my phone to their samsung TV to watch. This is still a workaround, but makes my phone unusable during the time. Instead of this, would it be possible in any way to give them access to my Emby (I already created them a user) and let them use my emby as DLNA rather than "mirroring the phone"? Sadly, because of the region, emby app is not available on our televisions. I also changed the region but the app is pretty hard to use compared to the regular dlna app in samsung TV's. Looking for a solution.
Luke 37064
Hi, it's not currently possible but it's something that we're interested in adding for the future. Thanks. Regarding the Samsung app, please see here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/74969-samsung-tizen-smarttv-2015-present-beta-app-install-from-usb/
