rottonpeech 0
attach the whole log. can you access it w/o using connect? Yes, connection with normal non-emby.connect works fine. This only started happening after the server got screwed up after moving the appdata folder. Oddly enough, my tv guide data is also having similar issues. I thought it was maybe the server couldn't connect to the outside world on it's own, so that's why I tried the ping tests. They passed those tests, and the server has no issues getting other download data/images. I'm just out of ideas. Was thinking I may need to just blow everything out and reinstall 100%, but I'd rather not unless its 100% necessary. The server has finally got about 80% through the first pass on the library scan. Schedules are working now, but EmbyConnect is still not working. Edited March 31, 2020 by rottonpeech

But aside from knowing exactly what is happening in the DLL, I'm not sure how to know this. Only a DEV would know where to check I think. I know from my days as a software dev, the worst error to troubleshoot is "NullReferenceException" They always tend to bubble up in the worst possible locations. Happy2Play 8296
Don't know anything about this docker but your database is locked and a lot of the xml files are throwing errors. I know for example my encoding.xml is not 0 bit as shown above. Busy: database is locked There is an error in XML document (0, 0)
Luke 37096
Yea i would shut down the server and delete all of the xml files that it's complaining about.
rottonpeech 0
Yea i would shut down the server and delete all of the xml files that it's complaining about. What about the 0 byte dlls in the plugins directory? Would it be advantageous to delete them or try to remove the plugins and readd them?
Luke 37096
Yes I would delete those too.
rottonpeech 0
So, I spent some time looking for all of the 0 byte files and painstakingly removing each of them. Not sure which of them ultimately fixed it, but I noticed the connect.txt was also 0 byte, and I'm guessing it may have had something to do with it. After all 0 byte files were removed, the server was restarted a few times to also clear out the old plugins and I'm happy to report that it server is once again allowing me to connect my users with their Emby Connect accounts! Thanks to everyone who helped me on this one! Edited April 11, 2020 by rottonpeech
Luke 37096
Thanks for the feedback. If you see one of these 0 byte files created again, please capture the emby server log so that we can try and get to the bottom of it. Thanks.
