rrado 0
Hello, I discovered that it was not possible to connect to emby. After analysis, I finally found that 1. there was no disk space any more ! 2. all available space was filled by "transcoding-temp" folder On this server : - no recording - no live TV - oldest .ts files are from (2020-03-26 16:55) Attached are server logs. Using Emby 4.4.0.40 / Ubuntu 18.04 I will restart the server, and will manually remove the .ts file, if needed. Do you have any idea what happened ? Best regards, logs.zip Edited March 27, 2020 by rrado
Luke 37066
Hi, what emby apps were you playing from?
rrado 0
Emby was mainly played from web browser (Chrome), and via chromecast Edit : fyi, the server has been restarted. And then, transcoding-temp has been emptied. Edited March 27, 2020 by rrado
Luke 37066
When you stop playing, how do you typically do that?
rrado 0
Most of time, I do not "stop" playing : I just click on the "back" button (which appears when I move the mouse)
rrado 0
Hello, It seems that some other people have the same issue ? https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/84786-expanding-transcoding-temp-directory/ Every now and then (and it seems to be happening more frequently now) I have to delete the directory and restart my server before it expands to use the entire capacity of my SSD Having this emby directory totally fill the disk makes the whole system unusable. @@Luke Would it please be possible to have a temporary work around ? It would be an option which would limit transcoding-temp directory size, for example.
Luke 37066
If you just play with chrome without using Chromecast, do you still see this happen?
