crusher11 979 Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 Currently if you're part way through a multi version movie, and go back to it, the default version is whatever the default version would normally be. It ought to default to the version that's in progress. 6 1
CBers 7120 Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 I have just played a 1080p version of a movie, but when I stopped, exited Emby and restarted Emby, the default is 4K. I think it defaults to the best quality to match the device it's playing on.
MBSki 1104 Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 It should remember your subtitle and audio selection too. I turned on subtitles for a movie 2 days ago, but when I started it back up yesterday the subtitles were off. 1
ebr 15670 Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 Hi. This has been discussed in a few places but the version that is selected is dependent on the device. Our multi-version system is designed for different qualities of the same item even though some people use it for different cuts.
crusher11 979 Posted March 15, 2020 Author Posted March 15, 2020 Then redesign it. Multiple cuts are pretty common. 1
Normanos 8 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Bumpin' Usually I using mkvtoolnix or Audacity to create audio tracks. Sometimes it's impossible to create audio track so using 2 video files one in one language, other in different language. Emby always choose video file with best video quality.
