AviatorBimmer 28 Posted March 10, 2020 Share Posted March 10, 2020 Hey guys, I was wondering if the following is possible. Let's say I have six (6) TV sources and each source uses a unique m3u file. One (1) guide for all sources Up until this point, this is currently easily done. Here is the where the plot thickens lol Is it possible to have each source assigned to a specific user or users? The way Emby works right now, it will take all sources, combine them and present them all under Live TV. What if I could do the following: User 2 sees Source 1 User 3 sees Source 2 User 3 sees Sources 2,4 User 4 sees Source 3 User 5 sees Source 5,6 User 6 sees Source 4 As you can see in my case, I have 6 sources and I can cherry pick which user sees which source. Then I'm guessing that in the following setting when configuring a user: It could display a list of available sources and we can assign which ones that user has access to. Is this feasible? And even if we did, I would have to comb through 6 duplicates of each channel because all 6 m3u files would be merged into one Live TV. I know it's currently not implemented but it would be an awesome feature to have. Treat each source as an individual Live TV and allow admins to assign individual sources to specific users. One m3u file for each connection. So I would have 6 sources and all sources have the same channel lineup. Since I have 6 users, I can then assign one source to each user.
