somy 24
A stupid question here, XBMC uses MySQL for all libraries. Why not create a job to sync the MBS and XBMC database so that all media are native in XBMC? Then there is no need for additional skins/plugins and update them every time when XBMC makes a change. im85288 1493
XBMC does not always use MySQL for local libraries. The whole point of using the MBS is to not have your metadata local. By using the XBMB3C plugin it removes the need for things like the ArtworkDownloader, TV Tunes etc etc. What updates are you referring too that need to be changed when XBMC changes? I meant if XBMC has a new version, which requires a new skin, we need to wait for the skin is updated and then update our skin.
xnappo 1593
You can certainly just use the MB3 XBMC .nfo writer in conjunction with Trakt to do what you say, but you lose the real time nature of the MB3 database. The whole point of this project is to replace the XBMC database. That isn't to say there aren't other interesting projects out there. xnappo
