Too many reasons.Plex plays m2ts without any problem though. (Tweaked version of exoplayer?)Feature request is,An option under "External Player" in Playback settings which kinda allows us to use external player only for certain formats/containers/codecs (or even tags?).Something like :Play following formats with external player:mp4 √mkvm2ts/bluray √Any format that currently doesn't work on emby/exoplayer can be dropped here so that it can be played on kodi or mx or vlc.I'd really like to play everything on emby without having to chose an external player. Let me reiterate- External player option with drop down menu with container type/profile type/codec type. Not for web app but for shield tv (or any other platforms which supports external players) Considering exoplayer on emby plays 80% of containers/profiles/codecs,we don't have to set external player as default player just because of lack of playback capability for remainder of 20% type of content.
