On my Nvidia Shield, I have a row on the home screen for 'New Premieres', but I can't find this option when viewing Emby on other devices (Samsung TV, Android phone, Web App).

Is this an option I need to enable somewhere, or is it not available elsewhere?

If it is not available, would you be willing to add this as an option, as I find this extremely useful when new series start/return

This is only available in the Android TV (ATV) app currently.

I have always wondered what that setting is for.

Does anyone of you have a screenshot how it looks like?

It should show Episode 1s of new seasons of shows that you have in your library.

I believe you have to have previous season content though for it to work correctly.

I don't use it, as I always delete the previous season before a new one starts, so I never see anything.

@@ebr will correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks @@CBers.

Just had a look at it and see what you mean.

However, isn't this information redundant as it is also shown under "Next Up"?

That's what I use.

Yes, but the likely scenario is that the "Next Up" entry is 20 items deep in the list when the new season starts.  This row just brings your attention to the fact that there is now new content.

Ok, I see.

It will not apply to me or the few clients I share my server with as we do not watch that much stuff in parallel.

It's still good to know what that *option* is for.

Thank you both and sorry to the OP for kinda hijacking his topic.
