inffy 0
Yesterday I was trying to watch a tv show but for a reason not really known Emby started to lag and after checking i noticed that it has started to transcode the file because of the subtitles. The strange thing is that i have played same kind of files fine with Emby but for some reason it now decided to transcode. Tested the same file with Plex and it went without a hiccup. Attached is a log embyserver1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-f6c850bb-2fdb-4439-8032-12ac4d964b24_1.txt Edited February 23, 2020 by inffy
Solution Luke 37084 Posted February 24, 2020 Solution Share Posted February 24, 2020 @@inffy I'm guessing you unchecked the option in server transcoding settings to allow subtitle extraction on the fly.
