gillmacca01 164 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 I have the complete Live Aid 1985 in 21 files, under Music Videos File structure is: Live Aid (1985) >Live Aid (1985) >Live Aid (1985) - Part 1 > Live Aid (1985) - Part 2 > Live Aid (1985) - Part 3 and so on, but when viewing it in Emby, the additional parts are in random order: How do I get them to display in the correct order?
Luke 38842 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Hi, that's strange. I would check them and make sure none of them have custom sort titles applied.
gillmacca01 164 Posted February 12, 2020 Author Posted February 12, 2020 Here are the first 3 parts as they are displayed in Emby
ebr 15436 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Hi. Why are two levels of your folder structure duplicated?
gillmacca01 164 Posted February 12, 2020 Author Posted February 12, 2020 No reason. Just something I need to tidy up, once this issue is resolved
Happy2Play 9142 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 @@Happy2Play are you able to reproduce? In 4.3.1.0 yes Will test on a new beta soon to see if the new sort changes work for this.
Happy2Play 9142 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Applied css to show, but got pretty much the same results on new beta (4.4.0.13). path C:\Users\Media\Desktop\Videos\Music Videos\Live Aid (1985)\ with Live Aid (1985) - Part 1.mkv thru Live Aid (1985) - Part 11.mkv items no metadata.
Luke 38842 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 A yes I see. Looks like no sorting is being applied. Thanks.
Bigmack3000 87 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 (edited) This is the same problem I was having here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/81327-quick-question-on-organizing-multi-part-film/ Another Example: It also seems to happen if you search for a film series: It might be easier if there was just a drop down for multi part films. Like there is for multi-versions. Edited February 13, 2020 by Bigmack3000
Luke 38842 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 It's resolved for the next release, thanks. 2
