Silver 1 Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 Loving the new player but the immediate comment from the other half was that when you pause something and then hit play again, you get the video start again, the pause icon fade out, the information fade in, it displays for 5 seconds and then fades out again. So you end up being 6 seconds into a show before you're actually able to watch it without any overlay - which doesn't sound like much, but is quite a lot! Any chance that this whole thing could be reduced to, say, 1 second rather than the 5-6 it currently is? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Silver 1 Posted June 22, 2014 Author Share Posted June 22, 2014 I fiddled with the settings and reduced the idle timeout to 3 seconds. To be honest, I think that there should be a separate timeout for starting the playback of a video again (since you don't care about the overlay at that point, you just want to see the show) but it's better than nothing.
