Program image thumbnail pixelated

Hello,

I've noticed that the EPG program images are being scaled down, and lose a lot of quality in 'preview mode' (ie: on the guide page, or on 'More like this').

Here is an example :

As you can see, the image from the program itself is great, but the one for 'More Like This' quality is pretty bad.

The source image from the EPG is here : https://television.telerama.fr/sites/tr_master/files/sheet_media/media/539fab40-e063-4d30-9bc1-185fcdb9fa28.jpg (1280 x 720p)

The preview image was converted to a 640x360px image, which is then scaled down to 280x158px.

Is it not possible to scale down the initial image instead of converting it to a thumbnail ?

This is Firefox 72.0.1 (64-bit)

However the issue happens as well on Chrome Version 77.0.3865.75, or with the Android app.

This is on the latest stable release.

No, its like that out of the box.

I've also tried multiple EPGs just in case, but the default image from the EPG is always decent but ends up pixelated in Emby.
I can provide more logs/access to the server if needed for investigation.

They look like center-cropped thumbs.  Therefore, they are effectively zoomed well beyond their requested resolution.

I was scrapping my own EPG using WebGrabPlus against CanaPlus website : https://www.canalplus.com/programme-tv/

I've also tried with this one (http://xmltv.remysimpson.com/xml/xml_district_tv.xml), same problem.

I've located the problematic image using the debugger, the link looks like this :

https://my-emby-server.com/Items/99348/Images/Primary?maxHeight=300&maxWidth=200&tag=2dbde2caa76453096293566fa5fa0825&quality=90

The image from the link is this one : 5e39cb0534276_Primary.png

And it end up being cropped to this : 5e39cac950e17_20200204_1649.png

The issue seems to be coming from a 200x112 image being upscaled to a 164x303 box
